sensory experience

This is a proposal for an immersive experience with the works of Mariana Gonçalves that are on display in the studio space. The session is guided by the artist towards a bodily approach to the works and the proposal is that the participant opens up to the possibility to touch, sit, lie down, observe and interact with the works in a free way, in a specially created space and time to this end.
Nothing is required, the session is free and directed only to make the participant feel at ease and allow a deeper contact with the pieces, a state of presence that would not be possible in the social context of a public exhibition , with institutional restrictions and the external gaze of people passing by, talking.
This experience is intended to be a means of enabling tactile access to the works and enhancing the sensory impact that Mariana Gonçalves' work can have in relation to the body, in careful activation.
The exchange and dialogue about the sensations that the experience arouses are very welcome and consequently nourishes the artist's creative process.
The experience can be done individually or in pairs, trios (with family or friends) and children of any age are welcome to participate.

The artist will guide and be present throughout the entire experience.

 

• All works are sanitized with disinfectant at each session as part of the COVID-19 prevention protocol.

• For directing the experience and for the maintenance/cleaning of the works, the amount of R$60 per hour of experience is charged. 

• Sessions have a minimum of 1 hour, but can be scheduled for a longer duration.
