Starting from the organicity of the body and specific tactile desires, I intend to enable sensations in the shapes.
Elements of what is intimate, visceral, shapes that resemble to organs and biological structures are recurrent in the works.
The choice of textures and colors always seeks to contemplate
a deep desire for comfort and affection.
My biggest interest is in proposing relations with the pieces and thus enabling sensory experiences that embrace the spectator's body, making the work changeable and, in a way, alive.
Some are made as extensions of my own body,
making it possible to experience the boundaries between self and other.
Fabric is the main material used in the exploration of textures due to its closeness to skin, as well as the techniques of crochet and knitting, given their organic modeling potential.
